Is the Open Source version production-ready?
Yes. Preloop is Apache 2.0 licensed and already used in production to govern OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenCode fleets. Self-hosting gives you the full MCP firewall, AI model gateway, policy engine, approvals, runtime observability, and audit trail.
Can I upgrade from Open Source to Teams later?
Yes. There is a data migration path from a self-hosted Preloop install to a Preloop Cloud Teams workspace — policies, flows, agent configurations, and audit history can be carried over so you do not lose operational evidence when you move.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately and your existing policies, flows, and approvals are preserved.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and can invoice for annual Teams and Enterprise plans.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The Preloop Cloud Teams plan comes with a 14-day free trial. Preloop, the open-source edition, is free forever under Apache 2.0 and you can self-host it with no time limit.
